Our 4-strand cotton rope is very popular with trapeze artists. Four-strand rope has an inner core which is sometimes removed by the makers of trapezes and replaced with other rope such as dyneema.
Genuine natural-fibre cotton rope manufactured by world-renowned Langman Ropes in Holland. Cotton rope was traditionally used on classic sailing boats however modern synthetic products, such as polyester, which can be made to look like hemp, are often preferred by today's mariners due to the strength and long-life of man-made fibres.
Cotton rope is still sought after by some nautical purists in the yachting industry for the rigging of classic ships. It is also used by landscape architects, acrobats, artists and those requiring a fully 100% natural product. Because of its natural look, cotton is also a perfect decorative rope.
This particular rope is 100% cotton and is of the highest quality. Our cotton rope is naturally heat & flame resistant, environmental friendly and biodegradable.
