Description
Solid copper rod cut from 3.6m lengths in units of 30cm. Copper rod has many nautical uses - for example by cutting a thread on one end copper rod can be used to fasten bronze deck hardware.
If you require longer uncut pieces please be sure to add a note to your order as you complete the checkout process.
Note that lengths greater than 90cm may require the payment of additional shipping costs. We will contact you to advise of this if necessary.

Copper rod
Thank you for the prompt delivery. The copper rod was well protected in solid tubing and arrived undamaged which was very important for the end use as keelbolts.
The lengths were all correct as ordered resulting in minimum waste. I have ben delayed in my response due to a very serious bushfire which threatened the area and my boat was on the land unable to be put in the water as two thirds of the 17 keelbolts had been removed. 'Whisper' is now back in her element. -

Making copper bolts
I needed to make some new copper bolts for a project refurbishing an Alan Payne Tasman Seabird.
They needed to be 150mm long and low and behold, the Classic Boat Supplies had the diameter I needed and precut at 300mm. (Once received I only had to cut them in half).
