Classic Boat Supplies received our first shipment of natural cotton rope from Langman Ropes in January 2015.

Langman Ropes, based in The Netherlands, is known the world-over as a high quality manufacturer of rope products. Their cotton rope is available in 3-strand and 4-strand twisted rope, along with braided cotton rope.  Langman's twisted cotton rope diameters range from 6mm (1/4") through to 40mm, while braided cotton rope is manufactured in 3mm (1/8") through to 16mm (5/8") diameters.  Initially Classic Boat Supplies will be stocking 3-strand twisted cotton rope up to 16mm.

Our cotton rope is made from 100% natural cotton yarn.  It is commonly used by acrobats and theatre performers who appreciate cotton rope's combination of softness and strength.  Artists are attracted to cotton rope for its texture and natural off-white appearance and it is also ideal for horse halters.

Bring a completely natural product, cotton rope is environmentally friendly and 100% biodegradable.  It is naturally heat resistant and resists fire.
