Description
These insect screens are manufactured from stainless steel mesh and have a flexible outer rim that holds them firmly in the bore of the portlight.
As a simple push fit they are easily installed without tools and can be simply removed and stored when not required.
The porthole door remains fully usable when the fly screens are in place. There is a size to suit each of our round portlight with spigot as listed below, or any other portlights with the same internal diameter.

Don't get bugged by bugs!
I searched the internet for insect screens and found them in a gold mine of a site: Classic Boat Supplies. Of course, their catalogue consists of fantastic hardware and fittings for classic boats, but I needed to keep my classic boat from being invaded by our winged nemesis: Mosquitoes! Not only did their oval bronze screens fit like a dream, the rubber edged, round screens couldn't have been a better fit if they had been custom built. Mike Watson went way above the call of duty to accommodate my measurement shortcomings, and made sure I was 100% satisfied_ all the way to the US from Australia. It's the little things, like small insects, and the big things, like great customer care that make all the difference. Thanks, Classic Boat Supplies!
