Description
Gunmetal bronze tack boom end from Davey & Co. This fitting fits over the mast-end of the boom and has a square cutout measuring 13mm (1/2") and two #6 countershunk holes for mounting to the boom. The spikes of Davey's goose-neck fittings fit snugly into this boom end, providing a solid traditional solution for mounting booms.
The eye at the top of the fitting allows the tack of the sail to be secured with a small shackle or line (up to 5mm or 1/4").
